This work explores a rosey recall back to moments I have shared with friends in the Midwestern landscape. Finding ourselves in farms, at picnics, by the lake, in a living room.

This series came together through interest in the details of larger works I admired by masters such as Titian, Sargent, Yuskavage and more. I found myself interested in detailed areas that capture significance of the moment. I found the times I wanted to capture was of my friends holding onto things, interacting with bits of our story as we created our own stories together.
